Join an off-trail run in Eindhoven.
Run hard. Think fast.
Legs on fire. Brain switched on.
Going fast helps, but thinking fast matters too.
One wrong turn changes the run.
No run ever feels the same.
How it works
Get a map. Find the controls. Choose your route.
01
Get ready
You get your map just before you start. Your time starts and you're on your own.
02
Navigate as you run
Find your way from control to control as fast as you can. You plan your route while you move.
03
Choose the fastest way
Take the path or cut straight through the forest. You decide. Faster course time wins.
Ready to try it?
Start in the park. Then hit the forest.

Who is this for? +
Beginner to expert runners who want to try something new. You do not need orienteering experience or natural navigation talent. Curiosity is enough.
What if I've never done anything like this before? +
Perfect. That is exactly who this is for. We keep the first run accessible and explain the basics before you start.
Do I need to be fast or super fit? +
No. Speed helps, but it is not only about speed. Navigation and route choice matter too. Both events have different route options and shortcuts, so you can make your run as easy or as challenging as you want.
What if I get lost or mess it up? +
You probably will. That is part of it. That is exactly how you learn. This event is set up for beginners, so you can make mistakes, improve fast, and still have a great run.
What if I use GPS? +
You can wear your GPS watch or bring your phone, but it will not tell you where to go. You get the map at the start and plan your route as you run. GPS is useful afterwards if you want to look back at your route.
What if I just follow someone else? +
You start one by one, and not everyone runs the same course. Following someone else will not get you the best time. Feeling less confident on your own? Let us know. You can also run in pairs, with the same map and the same course.
Do I need to understand the map first? +
No. We explain the essentials before you start. If you want a quick preview, you can read the map and compass basics first.
Read the basicsWill there be a bag drop? +
Yes, you can safely leave your extra layers or bag while you head out for the run.
